The fourth generation of the Pontiac Firebird was produced from 1993 to 2002. It was a continuation of the Firebird's legacy, featuring a more modern and aggressive design compared to its predecessors.

It was available in coupe and convertible body styles, continuing the tradition of offering various trim levels and performance variants.

The Trans Am continued to be a standout model within the fourth-gen lineup, featuring distinct styling cues such as a functional Ram Air hood, rear spoiler, and dual exhaust. The WS6 performance package was available, offering handling upgrades and a higher-output V8 engine for increased performance.
