1st Gen Bronco

1976 Ford Bronco The 1966 Ford Bronco marked the first year of production for this iconic model. The Bronco was introduced as a compact, rugged, and versatile vehicle designed to compete in the growing sport utility vehicle market.

The Ford Bronco was designed with off-road capability and versatility in mind. Its compact size, short wheelbase, and robust four-wheel-drive system made it well-suited for navigating challenging terrains. The 1966 Bronco was available in three body styles: a two-door wagon, a half-cab pickup, and a roadster. This variety allowed buyers to choose a configuration that best suited their needs, whether it was utility, recreation, or open-air driving. Removable Top: The Bronco's design featured a removable hardtop or soft top, allowing for open-air driving experiences. This feature contributed to the Bronco's appeal as a recreational vehicle. The Bronco came equipped with a robust four-wheel-drive system, making it capable of tackling off-road trails and challenging conditions.

In 1967, the Ford Bronco introduced the Sport Package.

In 1972 the Ford Bronco introduced a top of the line Ranger Package.
