2025 Mini Aceman EV debuts in Beijing

Mini has shown the all-new 2025 Mini Aceman at the Beijing Auto Show, a small crossover EV that will slot between the smaller Cooper coupe and the larger Countryman SUV. The 2025 Mini Aceman is roughly 14 inches smaller and 3 inches narrower than the Countryman, though considerably larger than the standard Cooper coupe, and fills the space left by the recently discontinued Mini Clubman. The exterior styling of the 2025 Mini Aceman also splits the difference between the classic Cooper's more rounded design and the Countryman's more rugged, squared-off look. At the front, we find the iconic Mini circular headlights that mirror the Countryman's units more than the perfectly circular units found on the Cooper. The overall shape is very much a mini version of the Countryman, no pun intended. The rear of the 2025 Mini Aceman also leans more heavily into a boxy, rugged aesthetic and incorporates an updated interpretation of Mini's Union Jack taillight design. Buyers will be able to choose wheels between 17 19 in size and from a plethora of different body color/contrasting roof color options. The Aceman E will be the base version, featuring a single electric motor producing 184 hp and 214 lb-ft of torque. This version will be rated at 192 miles of range on the European WLTP cycle (typically producing more optimistic range elements than US EPA ratings) from a 42.5 kWh battery and be capable of a 7.9 second 0-62 mph time. The Aceman SE gets a more powerful single motor capable of churning out 218 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, propelling it to 62 mph in 7.1 seconds. The Aceman SE will also feature a larger 54.2 kWh battery rated at 252 miles per charge on the WLTP cycle. Inside, the 2025 Mini Aceman features much of the same interior design previously seen on both the Cooper and the Countryman. Front and center is a 9 circular OLED touchscreen display that controls multiple vehicle functions and features the brand's mascot-based digital assistants. Interesting textured fabric covers the dash and is joined by straps and buckles, giving the Mini Aceman interior a sporty yet tailored appearance. This being a Mini, buyers will be able to choose between a wide variety of different interior colors and trims to make it their own. An international model, the 2025 Mini Aceman EV, has yet to be confirmed for the US market. The post 2025 Mini Aceman EV debuts in Beijing appeared first on The Torque Report .
