About the 1990 Ford Mustang

The third generation of the Ford Mustang, known as the "Fox Body" was produced from 1979 to 1993. It marked a return to a more performance-oriented and sporty direction for the Mustang, following the fuel crisis-induced changes of the previous generation.

Introduced in 1979, the third-gen Mustang featured a sleeker and more aerodynamic design, with a prominent grille and quad headlights. It was larger and more substantial than the previous generation, offering more interior space and improved driving dynamics.

Under the hood, the third-gen Mustang offered a variety of engine options, ranging from inline-four and V6 engines to powerful V8s.
