We are always happy to offer our customers some of the most rare and unique finds and this is a rare one. We are proud to present this real planked mahogany runabout in minature form. A 4 hp outboard motor mounted inside the hull provides the power. She has a single planked hull, sides and bottom. Made in a small run this boat started life as a 1931 carnival ride boat at the Dreamland Margate Amusment Park in Kent, England. The motor was made by the Britannia Company and was called a middy. The steering mechanism allows the boat to move forward or backwards with the aid of a foot pedal accelerator. The motor has a shaft and propeller made of brass. The boat comes with a more modern small boat trailer. This is a really nice boat for being 93 years old. This boat has won awards at the 2017 Keels and Wheels Concours d' Elegance held at Lakewood Yacht club in Seabrook, Tx. You know this is a very rare boat.
