You are looking at a super rare 1970 LT1 Corvette Convertible. 1 out of less than 500 produced out of the total 1287 LT1 Corvettes in production for the year 1970. This all matching numbers car sports the all well know LT1 powertrain that consists of many high performance heavy duty components including: solid lifters, heavy duty starter, forged TRW aluminum pistons, 11:1 compression, 4 bolt main cap block, tuftrided crank, special high lift cam, high rise aluminum intake, holley carb, baffled oil pan, transistor ignition, larger radiator, high volume oil and fuel pumps and 2 1/2" exhaust. (Corvette produced a beast of a small block V8 for the 1970 LT1 and ZR1 Corvettes.) All backed by a M21 manual 4 speed close ratio transmission. This LT1 was also produced in code correct 992 Laguna Gray paint with code correct 400 Black Vinyl interior and a painted hard top with interior matching black soft top. A frame off nut and bolt restoration was complete on this car back in 2013 and achieved a NCRS second flight judging score of 92.5 in 2014 along with a Silver Bloomington certificate shortly after.
