2022 Junior Car 250GT California SpyderThis half-scale Junior Car was chosen to harken back to the 1959 Ferrari 250 California Competizione chassis 1416GT which is one of the most famous California Spyders and was raced to 5th place overall at the 1959 24 hours of LeMans.Factory ordered in PTS Ferrari Argento Nurburgring, which has been paired with an optioned red, Bespoke NWCrafted Nappa leather interior. To really fill out the authentic look, the exterior detail kit has been added, which includes high-end stainless finishes and a set of bespoke Turrino wire wheels has been fitted.This Junior 250 Cal Spyder is powered by an air-cooled four-stroke engine displacing 110cc. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed semi-automatic sequential gearbox with reverse gear. Despite being a Junior Car, in standard tune, they are rated for a top speed up to 40 mph. However, an optional speed restrictor can be fitted, allowing safe speeds for younger drivers.While being a faithful replica of the original vehicle, safety has been a key driver throughout the design process. Featuring hydraulic vented disk brakes, provided by Brembo, and Rack and Pinion steering to provide a predictable driving experience. Seating is accommodated by its adjustable pedals, suitable for junior drivers & adults exceeding 6ft.Under the body, This Junior Cars are made of some big car components. Featuring a powder-coated jig-built steel box section chassis, a fully independent double wishbone suspension up front, a four-link setup in the rear, and adjustable gas shock absorbers at all four corners.Before receiving a Premium Automotive DuPont paint finish, the fiberglass body and floor plan are hand molded out of GRP, using the same process with which the Ferarri 308 GTB and many kit cars today are made. The brightwork and trim are finished in high-polished stainless steel. An authentic dashboard houses the instruments to provide the driver with all the necessary switchgears, including; a fully functional horn, functional front and rear lights, working indicators, and neatly positioned levers to open the hood and trunk.
