I have the Certificate of authenticity. It was owned by a gentleman for the past few years, who drove the car and enjoyed it the way it was. He spent a lot of money on the drivetrain, and interior but the paint is about 25 years old. At some point they gave the car a poor paint job, and did poor body work. It visibly has body filler throughout the car, and the gaps are not perfect. The previous owner never really cared, it looked good from a few feet away and he enjoyed the car for a long time. The interior on the other hand is in excellent condition. Mechanically it's running and driving pretty well. According to the previous owner he rebuilt the motor and transmission coupe years ago, although I have no records of that. If you take one glance at the engine from the top or bottom, you can tell lots of work was done. The motor is very healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smoothly through all gears. Clutch feels good. Always tlc you could do. No known leaking. The floors are very solid, no real rust on the car. This has a lot of potential to be something very special. As you know this is the last year of the 356. It has disk brakes all around and slightly more horsepower.
