From 1991 through 1996 the Roadmaster returned after a 33 year absence and would go on to produce over 200,000 cars before being pressured to hang their hat up by the GM execs to focus more on luxurious SUV's that seemed to have a much larger profit margin. The final year to wind things down saw the fewest of cars built with just under 9,000 total wagons.
