Powering Dodge is a 440ci V8 making roughly 420hp paired with a 727 automatic transmission with a 3.23 Posi rear end. This Coronet R/T has been through a full rotisserie restoration with the motor being rebuilt to make 420hp with a dyno sheet and a rebuilt transmission with a shift kit. Just about everything was replaced with new brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, fuel tanks, etc. This car is exceptionally clean from top to bottom, inside and out. The Coronet R/T was available as a two-door hardtop or convertible. The standard engine was Chrysler's largest, the 440-cid V-8, it was tweaked to 375 bhp and christened the Magnum. The only engine option was the 426-cid Hemi, now in its second year in ""Street"" trim and again rated at 425 bhp. It added $908. Transmission choices were Mopar's excellent heavy-duty three-speed TorqueFlite automatic or a four-speed manual.
