The vehicle described in this appraisal is a "kit car" or fiberglass reproduction of a 1933 Ford body and fenders. The top is chopped and filled. the rear wheel wells appear to be larger for bigger tires. These bodies are built under the manufacturing name of "Red Neck". these molds and the reproduction company ahve sold about two or three times since the products were first manufactured by Redneck. These reproduction bodies have a reputation of being the strongest reproduction bodies in the industry. Additionally, the bodies do not have any steel or wood inner structure; all materials are catalyzed fiberglass and are thicker and strong enough to support a full grown man standing on the roof. The original advertisement by Red Neck showed someone standing on the roof! An internet search revealed the Redneck fiberglass bodies are currently built by "kustom Klassics" in Huron South dakota. A copy of their internet page is included for reference and includes their contact information. The condition grade of this vehicle is a #6 "Parts Car". There is no engine installed at this time Chassis: the chassis is a reproduction "stateo fthe art" Stage 4 chassis from Pete and Jakes Hot Rod Parts. Chassis includes stainless steel brake lines, braided stainless steel flex hoses and rigid stainless steel fuel line. the front and rear brakes which are all polished aluminum calipers and 11" rotors from Wilwood brake components. The fully boxed frame rails by Pete and Jakes are also "C" notched" above the rear 9" differential tubes for additional suspension travel clearance. the frame rails are also fully boxed for strength. The front suspension is independent upgrade Mustang II style with stainless steel or chrome plated upper and lower control arms with Pete and Jakes adjustable coilover shocks with chrome springs. the steering has a rack and pinion steering rack. the center cross-member is a tubular "K" member that also provides a transmission mount location. the rear differential is a new reproduction 9" Ford that has been narrowed to the exact overall dimension for proper clearance for the rear fenders. the 9" ford housing is mounted to the chassis using a chrome stainless steel tubular trangulated four bar system with chrome adjustable coilover shocks. A chrome sway bar is installed on the front suspension. the front and rear wheels are Chrome five spoke aluminum wheels by Rocket. the front wheels are 18'x7' with 225/45ZRX18" bf gOODRICH ZR radials. The rear wheels are 20" x 8.5" with 245/45ZRx 20" radials. By the time the tires and wheels were mounted and balanced and chrome lug nuts were purchased, this was an $2800 investment that was not included with the cost of the body and chassis. No interior at this time. In summary, thie "RedNeck" reproduction body of a 1933 Ford two-door sedan street-rod had a cost of $15,000 for the new wheels and tires and the reproduction body and related exterior bolt-on parts only.
