The body on this truck is in phenomenal condition from front to back. All the body lines come together seamlessly, and inside the bed has been very well cared for as it had a camper shell and protector on it for most of its life. This truck sports the majority of its original red paint that has been buffed and polished out to maintain a beautiful finish. We can see that the grill and bumpers are in nice condition along with the side molding. It has dual mirrors that are also very nice, and all of the glass is in excellent condition as well. This truck is the long bed option and the rear tailgate stainless is all very nice. To finish off this truck it's sitting on the stock styled wheels with White Line Tires. Next, we will look at the interior of this XLT Explorer. On the inside it's done in the rear as well and has the bench seat option. Both door panels are in great condition and feature the standard crank options. Looking at the dash we can see it's been very well cared for and has wood veneer inlays that are beautiful. It has factory gauges that are all very nice along with the Factory Air Condition controls. The headliner and visors were redone, and we can see that the carpet is in great condition. It's finished out with the factory steering wheel. Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 302 V8 engine that is equipped with the electronic fuel injection. Everything under the hood looks close to factory and has been dressed to maintain the stock appearance. Along with being optioned with Factory A/C it also has Power Brakes and Power Steering. The 302 V8 engine is mated to the column shifted automatic transmission that goes through the 8.8" Rear End with 3.55 gears. This '85 comes with the single exhaust that exits out the side along with having the factory spare.
