1920's Indian Board Track Racer-Tribute. Production motorcycles, like these were stripped down for racing on a 2x4 split board track. Banked at 45-60 degrees, top speeds would reach 100 mph or better, depending on the cc's of the motor. The wood tracks splintered and many competitors would get shard's of wood stuck in their faces and boots. "Safety equipment" was nothing more then aviator leather head gear, high boots, googles and a leather jacket. Men were true "dare devils". This tribute motorcycle was displayed in the Mount Dora Museum of Speed, near Orlando, which closed August, 2019 when the owner retired. Not sold with all items on display here. Bike: $4260.
