1947 INDIAN CHIEF - These were built with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1205cc, V-Twin powerhouse paired to a three-speed manual transmission and as it was built originally, Indian claimed it could produce 40 horsepower.
Features worth mentioning would be the single seat, full-fenders, laced wheels, pull-back handlebars, and rider floorboards. This is one of the first touring-oriented machines ever to have been built.
This is part of a private collection and a rare find in this condition.
We do have a clear title along with additional documentation for this motorcycle.
