Special Ordered With a Purpose
This Shadow Black Dark Horse was special ordered for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix as the grand prize in its 2026 charity sweepstakes . When the winner elected to take the cash option, this highly optioned Mustang became available essentially as delivered from Ford.
The selling Ford dealership is a longtime PVGP sponsor, adding another connection to the event and its charitable mission.
Naturally Aspirated V8 Performance
Under the hood is Fords 5.0-liter Coyote V8, producing 500 horsepower and 418 lb-ft of torque , paired with the 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission . Active-valve performance exhaust delivers the soundtrack, while MagneRide damping and a Torsen limited-slip differential help put that performance to work.
Factory Handling Package
The $5,495 Dark Horse Handling Package gives this Mustang an especially purposeful specification:
Staggered 19-inch Tarnished Dark-painted wheels, measuring 10.5 inches wide in front and 11 inches in the rear
305/30 front and 315/30 rear tires
Adjustable strut top mounts
Performance front splitter and front tow hooks
Revised chassis tuning
Performance rear spoiler with a Shadow Black Gurney flap
Red Brembo brake calipers with white logos add a striking accent to the Shadow Black finish.
Premium Equipment Throughout
The 700A Equipment Group and an extensive list of factory equipment combine performance-focused seating with modern comfort and technology:
Recaro sport seats
Premier Trim with Color Accent Group
B&O audio system
SYNC 4 infotainment
Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist
Dual-zone automatic climate control
Heated steering wheel
Dark Horse-specific digital displays, badging, and interior trim
The original window sticker identifies this Mustang as a Special Order and documents its $79,510 total MSRP , including factory options and applicable charges.
A Mustang With a Meaningful Connection
The Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose automotive events support residential care, treatment, and services for individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities in Western Pennsylvania. Since 1983, the organization has donated more than $7 million to charity.
This Mustangs role in the 2026 sweepstakes helped support that mission, giving it a story that extends beyond its performance and equipment.
