This 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS 2SS is a two-owner car with 35,000 miles, from the refresh year of the fifth-generation Camaro. It s finished in dark red over a black interior and pairs the SS s 6.2L V8 with a 6-speed automatic. Boston premium audio, navigation, and a head-up display are included.
The 2014 update was the most significant of the fifth-generation run. Chevrolet reshaped the front end with a larger lower intake and a narrower upper grille, added new headlamps, and replaced the two-piece taillamps with a single-lens design. On the SS, the update brought a functional heat extractor hood in the style of the ZL1 s. The Camaro s design still draws on the 1969 model, and the 2014 model year also saw the Z/28 return above the SS in the lineup.
Under the hood, the 6.2L V8 is rated at 400 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque with the automatic, sent to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. The SS also carries a performance-tuned suspension, independent rear suspension, electric power steering, and a dual-outlet stainless-steel exhaust. Stopping power comes from Brembo 4-piston brakes at all four corners, which many buyers don t expect to find on this generation of Camaro. The car sits on 20-inch wheels.
Inside, the black cabin has heated front seats with SS embroidered on the front headrests. The head-up display projects key information into the driver s line of sight, and the full-color driver information display debuted for 2014. Boston premium audio and navigation complete the 2SS equipment. With two owners and 35,000 miles, this Camaro suits someone who wants a modern V8 muscle car with the SS hardware already in place and a daily-driver level of comfort.
