Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 28th year in the classic and muscle car business. Speaking of celebrations, this year marks the 73rd birthday of America's favorite sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette. Through 8 distinct generations the Corvette has continually evolved; each generation boasting improved comfort, performance, and safety. Despite every generation having advantages and devotees, many enthusiasts still put the C2 Sting Rays (1963-1967) at the pinnacle of Corvette perfection. When Bill Mitchell and Larry Shinoda's wild Sting Rays debuted in the fall of 1962 they looked as if they'd arrived from another planet! This sexy 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a fun example of one of the most striking and important postwar American designs. Lift the iconic stinger hood and you'll find a Chevy ZZ4 crate engine sporting aluminum heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, an Edelbrock carburetor, a GMPP aluminum intake manifold, and Hooker headers for a stout 355 hp and 405 lb.-ft. of torque. Additional features include a 4-speed manual transmission, rebuilt independent rear suspension with adjustable lower control arms and composite mono leaf spring, original 3.36 Posi rear end (CB, 3-15-63), auxiliary hard top, fresh carpet and upholstery, a newer AM/FM audio system, and beefy tires (215/60R15 F, 245/60R15 R) wrapped around American Racing alloy wheels. This crimson cruiser runs and drives well and needs only a new pilot. If this timeless classic is your kind of cool, call the team that can make your dream a reality. Ray-Bans and sunscreen not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
