Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 28th year in the classic and muscle car business. 1962 was an important year in the life of Chevrolet's legendary Corvette, with several 'firsts' and 'lasts' that would mark milestones for future collectors. It was the last year for the iconic side coves, a solid rear axle, and the roadster-only Corvettes. 1962 was also the first year of a standard heater, no two-tone side coves, and no multiple carburetor options. This beautiful 1962 Corvette is a fun example of these stunningly styled masterpieces. Lift the familiar reverse tilt hood and you'll find Chevy's venerable 350 V8 that's sporting an Edelbrock 4bbl carburetor, a GMPP aluminum intake manifold, and HEI. Additional features include a Borg-Warner T10 4-speed manual transmission, fresh paint, excellent chrome, good upholstery, a black convertible top, a newer AM/FM/Cassette radio, and 205/75R15 tires wrapped around steel wheels with correct covers. These C1 (1953-1962) Corvettes are stunningly beautiful, especially when compared to today's bland offerings. In fact, there's more character in a single fender of this jewel than in an entire new car. Also, these cars enjoy one of the greatest dashboards ever produced, an efficient and attractive layout that's far superior to anything manufactured today. And what a conversation starter! Expect to take a little longer to fuel up, as almost everyone will want to chat. This crimson cruiser is a thrill to drive, and may be the world's most thrilling tanning machine. If this classic Corvette is your kind of cool, call the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Ray-Bans and sunscreen not included. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
