The unmistakable styling of a 1970 Ford Mustang Fastback needs little
introduction, and this Calypso Coral example delivers the presence and
personality that have made the Mustang one of the most recognizable
American muscle cars ever built. Finished in a striking color over a
black interior, this well-sorted Fastback combines classic
presentation with thoughtful upgrades and strong driving manners.
Under the hood is a professionally prepared Ford 302 V8 featuring a
Competition Cam, Engine Pro roller rockers, Bordix ST 5.0 heads
Melling M-68 oil pump, Silvolite pistons, Moly rings, and additional
performance-focused components. The automatic transmission and
rear-wheel-drive layout make this Mustang approachable and enjoyable
on the road, while power steering and power brakes add convenience to
the classic driving experience.
The exterior presentation is enhanced by the factory-inspired stripe
package, rear louvers, spoiler, and a set of chrome Magnum 500 wheels.
The black interior features high-back bucket seats, a ""T"" floor
shifter, fold-down rear seat, and a classic three-spoke steering
wheel. Vintage Air conditioning and an upgraded stereo have also been
added, giving this classic Mustang some welcome modern-day comfort
without taking away from its character.
More than just a handsome collector car, this Fastback is a
high-quality driving example that behaves well in a variety of
situations. It has the curb appeal to turn heads wherever it goes and
the presence to look right at home among serious collections. For
enthusiasts seeking a poster-worthy best-generation Mustang with a
strong visual presentation, upgraded mechanical components, and
potential as a long-term investment, this 1970 Fastback deserves a
closer look.
