This 1967 Chevrolet Camaro combines first-year F-body styling with a modern fuel-injected drivetrain, built as a restomod that keeps the classic shape while upgrading the systems that matter most for driving it. It wears orange paint with white stripes and rides on polished 17-inch wheels.
Power comes from a Corvette-sourced LT1 V8 with fuel injection, backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. Long tube headers and Flowmaster mufflers handle the exhaust side, while a Griffin radiator keeps the cooling system matched to the added output. Out back is a 12-bolt rear end with 3.73 gears, a strong and well-proven GM axle setup. The 3.73 ratio gives the car quick response off the line, and the overdrive gears in the 6-speed help keep highway cruising rpm in check, so the combination works for both spirited driving and longer trips.
The chassis has been brought up to match the drivetrain with four-wheel disc brakes using drilled and slotted rotors, along with power brakes and power steering for easier everyday handling. The 17-inch American Racing wheels fill out the first-gen fender openings with a more modern stance. Inside, the Camaro has cloth upholstery and an aftermarket radio. An aftermarket gauge cluster is joined by dedicated gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, fuel level, and voltage, giving the driver a clear view of the engine's vitals.
Altogether, this is a first-generation Camaro set up to be driven, with fuel injection, six forward gears, and four-wheel discs doing the work underneath first-year styling that has been a favorite since the Camaro debuted as Chevrolet's answer to the Mustang.
