Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 28th year in the classic and muscle car business. For about 10 years classic American pickup trucks have become an increasingly large part of our inventory. It seems as if almost everyone has had a father/grandfather/brother/uncle who drove an old truck that was cherished by the rest of the family. And why not? There are few things that can retrieve an old memory like the sights, sounds, and smells of a classic vehicle. This sweet 1951 Chevrolet 3100 retains its voluptuous curves while offering upgraded safety, comfort, and performance. Lift the deeply sculpted hood and you'll see the Chevy 350 crate engine that's been fortified with a Holley Street Avenger 770 cfm carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, headers, a Champion 3-row aluminum radiator with SPAL 16 electric fan, and HEI. Additional features include rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, Old Air Products air conditioning, a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with O/D and Lokar billet shifter, a Heidts Mustang II IFS, 3 dropped leaf spring rear suspension, 3.08 rear end, Dolphin gauges, a newer digital audio system, traffic light prism, and Cooper tires (215/70R15 F, 235/70R15) wrapped around Rocket Racing alloy wheels. Most of the work on this gem was performed by the pros at Mulder's Custom Rods in Brenham, Tx. If this celebration of patina is your kind of cool, call the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
