In 2017, Chevrolet introduced a redesigned 6.6L Duramax diesel V8 for the Silverado HD. Paired with an Allison six-speed automatic, it gave the truck a serious foundation for hauling. This black, four-door High Country takes that formula in a distinctive direction with a 20-foot Hodges bed. That bed makes this an unusual build, though no verified production count is available to support a specific rarity claim.
The equipment tells you what this Silverado is ready for: a center winch with wired remote, 7-foot-6-inch pull-out ramps, E-Trac tie-downs, an adjustable front tire wedge, a bedliner, and side storage. A Titan XL fuel tank and trailering package round out the work-ready setup. Four-wheel disc brakes, hydroboost braking, and power steering are also listed among its options.
Inside the Crew Cab, black leather bucket seats, a center console, and a column shifter bring High Country comfort to the job. Heated and cooled seats, a heated steering wheel, navigation, Bluetooth audio, an 8-inch touchscreen, and air conditioning make long days more inviting. The black paint is described as driver quality, fitting a truck built to be put to use.
