This 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 coupe pairs the factory supercharged package with a handful of well-chosen handling and structural upgrades, all sitting on just 50,000 miles. A Steeda strut tower brace and a lower front chassis brace add rigidity up front, while the factory Panhard bar out back has been swapped for a Watt's link, which locates the solid rear axle more precisely for cleaner handling under load. Braking is handled by the factory Brembo front setup, now running drilled and slotted rotors, and the car sits on 20-inch Shelby wheels wrapped in Falken Azenis tires, a step up from the factory 19-inch wheel package. Tinted windows round out the exterior.
Inside, the factory Electronics Package brings a touchscreen navigation system with Bluetooth audio streaming, the Shaker 500 audio system, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Carbon fiber trim has been added throughout the cabin, complementing the red-stripe leather seats and giving the interior a more finished, purpose-built look.
The 2010 model year marked a significant update for the GT500, with SVT reworking the supercharged engine for more power, retuning the suspension, and upgrading to a larger twin-disc clutch, all wrapped in a revised front fascia and hood extractor design.
