1967 Chevrolet Nova

Description:

Some Novas are built to look tough. Others are built to haul ass. THIS RED-HEADED BASTARD WAS BUILT TO DO BOTH! Meet this absolutely wicked 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova. A supercharged street machine packing an estimated 480"500 horsepower, a serious drivetrain, upgraded suspension, and an interior so damn gorgeous it looks like it belongs in a six-figure luxury car. This isn't some pretty little Nova with a loud exhaust and a set of shiny wheels. This thing has the hardware to back up every ounce of attitude it throws your way. Drenched in sinister red and sitting on polished US Mags, this Chevy II has that unmistakable old-school muscle car look. But one glance under the hood tells you somebody had much bigger plans than just cruising to the local car show. 383 CUBIC INCHES OF SUPERCHARGED BAD INTENTIONS! Pop the hood and there it is - a polished Weiand 142 supercharger sitting on top of a nasty 383ci small-block Chevy. And this isn't some stock bottom end with a blower slapped on for bragging rights. We're talking Mahle pistons, Eagle 6-inch connecting rods, an Eagle crankshaft, Dart Sportsman cylinder heads, a hydraulic roller camshaft, and Harland Sharp 1.6-ratio roller rockers. An 850-cfm Holley feeds the beast, while MSD ignition handles the spark. The result? AN ESTIMATED 480"500 HORSEPOWER OF BLOWN SMALL-BLOCK ATTITUDE! In a lightweight '67 Nova, that's a recipe for one hell of a good time. Crack the throttle, let that Weiand start making boost, and you'll quickly understand why this car doesn't need a ridiculous paint job or a bunch of fake badges to get attention. The black polished blower does all the talking. ALL THAT POWER MEANS NOTHING IF YOU CAN'T PUT IT DOWN! Backing up this blown 383 is a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission equipped with a 2,800-rpm stall converter. You've got the converter to help get this Nova moving when it's time to play, plus overdrive for when you want to hit the highway without listening to the engine scream for mercy. Out back, a Ford 9-inch Positraction differential is loaded with Richmond 3.55:1 gears and Strange 31-spline axles. BLOWN SMALL-BLOCK. BUILT REAR END. OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION. That's a combination designed for more than looking pretty with the hood up. OLD-SCHOOL MUSCLE. MODERN-DAY ROAD MANNERS. The upgrades don't stop at the drivetrain. The factory front suspension has been replaced with a complete Heidts setup featuring rack-and-pinion steering and adjustable coilovers. That means updated steering and suspension hardware underneath one of Chevrolet's most iconic compact muscle car bodies. Polished US Mag wheels finish off the exterior, giving this red Chevy II just the right amount of shine without taking anything away from its aggressive, no-nonsense attitude. No ridiculous body kit. No unnecessary bullshit. Just a gorgeous '67 Nova with the right stance, the right wheels, and a supercharger that makes its intentions crystal clear. THEN YOU OPEN THE DOOR... AND HOLY SHIT! You might expect a stripped-down interior with racing seats and bare metal. Not even close. This Nova features a completely custom modern interior wrapped in hand-stitched, Mercedes-Benz-grade tan leather. The craftsmanship, rich tan color, and gorgeous contrast against the red exterior take this build to an entirely different level. It's the kind of interior that makes you want to climb inside and stay awhile - right up until you remember there's a blown 383 waiting for you under the hood. AutoMeter analog gauges keep the cockpit true to its hot-rod roots while giving the driver the information needed to keep an eye on the beast. LUXURY ON THE INSIDE. BAD INTENTIONS UNDER THE HOOD. That's one hell of a combination. Visit us at 5626 Gravois Ave, St. Louis, MO, 63116. For inquiries, call (515)-REVHEADS and ask for Damon.
