This 2014 Mercedes-Benz E350 4MATIC Coupe comes from the final styling generation of the C207 chassis, finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over black leather and showing 63,000 miles. The 2014 model year brought the biggest visual change in the coupe's run, retiring the four-headlamp face that had defined the E-Class since the late 1990s in favor of single-piece housings with LED contouring and a deeper, more sculpted front bumper. This example wears the sport treatment, with the large star centered in the grille and AMG twin five-spoke wheels rather than the chrome-and-hood-ornament Luxury presentation.
Power comes from Mercedes-Benz's 3.5L M276 V6, a direct-injected engine rated at 302 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, backed by the 7G-TRONIC seven-speed automatic with DIRECT SELECT and steering wheel paddles for manual gear selection. The difference-maker here is 4MATIC all-wheel drive. Mercedes-Benz never offered 4MATIC on the E550 Coupe or on any E-Class Cabriolet, and the majority of E350 Coupes left Bremen with rear-wheel drive, which makes an all-wheel-drive car a smaller slice of the production run and a far more usable proposition in a climate with real winters.
The coupe also keeps one of the details that has defined Mercedes-Benz two-doors since the 1960s: a pillarless side profile with no B-pillar and frameless door glass. Drop all four windows and the entire side of the cabin opens up, with the low wind noise that comes from a properly sealed hardtop when it's closed. The panoramic sunroof overhead adds to that. Inside, the black leather interior includes heated front seats and navigation through the COMAND system and its console-mounted controller. This car also carries the LED lighting package, which replaces the standard headlamps with full LED units and gives the front end the sharper signature that the 2014 redesign was built around.
The E-Class Coupe was never built as a volume car, and Mercedes-Benz never produced a full AMG version of this generation, so a sport-equipped E350 4MATIC represents about as aggressive as the C207 was offered from the factory. At 63,000 miles across twelve years, this one has averaged a little over 5,000 miles annually.
