This 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport is a four-door JK finished in Copperhead Pearl over a black interior, set up with a mild lift and 35-inch tires while keeping the practicality that made the Unlimited the volume seller of the JK generation. Copperhead was a short-run color offered on the JK for 2014 and 2015, and it reads very differently in person than the greys and blacks that dominate the platform.
Power comes from Chrysler's 3.6L Pentastar V6 backed by the five-speed automatic. The Pentastar was a significant improvement over the 3.8L it replaced in 2012, adding meaningful horsepower and torque along with better manners on the highway, which matters on a long-wheelbase Unlimited running larger-than-stock tires. The five-speed automatic pairs well with the taller rolling diameter and makes the Jeep easy to live with as a daily driver.
The suspension has been raised with a 2.5-inch lift, with 35-inch tires mounted on 17-inch wheels. A matching full-size spare rides on an Outland HD tire carrier, which is the correct answer for a 35-inch spare since the factory carrier was never designed to hold that much weight. Inside, the black interior has been updated with a touchscreen infotainment system. The hardtop is currently installed, and a soft top is included with the sale, so the next owner has the option of running it closed through the winter and open through the summer without sourcing a second top.
The Jeep comes with maintenance records going back to 2020. Recent work includes new front pads, rotors, and calipers in the fall of 2024, along with a new oil cooler and oil filter housing, radiator, thermostat, and transmission lines. The oil cooler and filter housing service is worth calling out specifically: the original plastic housing on the Pentastar is a well-documented wear item on these engines, and having it already addressed removes one of the most common maintenance items a buyer would otherwise be looking at. Between that, the cooling system work, and the front brake service, the major deferred-maintenance categories on a JK of this age have largely been covered and documented.
