1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Big Block Restomod
CLASS NEVER GOES OUT OF STYLE!
Few automobiles are as instantly recognizable as the 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air. With its unmistakable tailfins, abundance of chrome and timeless body lines, the 57 Chevy has become one of the true icons of American automotive history. This stunning black-on-black Big Block Restomod takes everything people love about the original and adds the horsepower, stance, braking and creature comforts that make it even more enjoyable today.
Finished in a deep gloss black, this Bel Air has a sinister presence from every angle. The black paint provides the perfect backdrop for the extensive chrome and stainless trim that made the 57 famous. A staggered set of 18-inch front and 20-inch rear alloy wheels fills the wheel wells beautifully and gives the car a muscular modern stance without taking away from its legendary styling.
BIG BLOCK POWER
Open the hood and youll find the centerpiece of this build a 454ci Big Block V8. It?s topped with a Holley carburetor and Edelbrock aluminum intake, delivering the kind of torque, sound and old-school muscle that belongs in a car like this.
Power is sent through a 3-speed automatic transmission and back to a stout 9-inch rear end. Traction bars help manage the big-block torque, while the upgraded four-wheel disc brake system provides considerably more stopping capability than a stock 57 setup.
An adjustable air suspension lets you control the cars ride height, allowing you to drop it down for that killer show stance or bring it up when needed for cruising.
