1965 Ford Thunderbird. Well taken care of car with all the bugs sorted out. Runs fantastically and starts up great. Recently painted a battleship grey color with closely matching wheels that give the old bird a bit of attitude! Chrome is nice still. Car sits down nice and low on its wheels giving it an aggressive look. Iconic 60s jet aged styling on this one from every angle. The sequential rear signal lights still work just like they should, and the trunk is finished perfectly. Inside is nice black leather upholstery with a wrap around rear seat thats awfully comfortable. The front passenger seat features the optional extending headrest and reclining seat back for a comfortable snooze. The drivers seat is powered. Headliner carpets and door cards all new or in good condition. The car also features the sliding steering wheel making egress very easy. The speedo works, but a digital gauge also hangs from the dashboard. 18,800 miles on the odometer and likely thats 118,800, but with only 5 digits true milage is unknown. The switchgear and gauges are all so fascinating and jet inspired. This car has power windows as well as an early version of cruise control, which isnt working at the moment. Under the hood is the gold 39 0 4-bbl V8 and this one features Perma-tuned transistor solid state ignition from factory, meaning theres no points in the distributor. The option was quite rare on the car. Of course, theres power steering and power brakes and in this case disc brakes up front and drums in the back. No air conditioning, but this car makes for a great cruiser type. Lots of power, lots of style, reliable and easy to drive! Overall condition is very nice.
