But it is a professionally built facsimile of the original, with a heavy duty reinforced fiber glass body, that will never rust, mounted on top of a perimitized steel chassis. This car features a Ford 302ci V 8 engine, coupled to fully automatic transmission, with a coil spring front suspension, front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering, 12 volt electrical system tilt steering wheel, full multi gauge instrument panel windshield wipers, heater, and more mechanically. In addition it has a full folding convertible roof with side curtains, and matching boot. Also a rumble seat creating a 4 passenger capacity, twin side mounted spare tires totaling 6, a large comfortable interior with tilt wheel, a large matching covered rear trunk mounted on a chrome rack, chrome headlights as wheel as the rear lights, heater and seat belts. This car as a replica is far superior to the original that rusted, was under powered, uncomfortable, no heat, crude automobile at best.
