1976 Honda CB400F
VIN: CB400F-2000474
Honda's CB400F (1975-77) was a Swiss jewel of a motorcycle, featuring a silky smooth OHC 4 cylinder engine, a six speed transmission, and the best looking four into one pipes in the business. It also had unique styling that set it apart from other bikes, a cafe racer stanch featuring low bars, back set foot pegs, and a more svelte overall look. It's high revving engine, six speed gearbox, and lightweight (370 pounds, stock) also brought it success in period era racing.
The Parakeet Yellow example you see here was purchased in 2007 with the odometer showing only 5,830 miles. At 6,000 miles the carburetors were rebuilt and the clutch cable replaced. It has since received careful maintenance and been ridden sparingly. The odometer currently shows 6,160 miles.
