1984 Kawasaki GPZ1100
VIN: JKAZXBA16EB501406
20,379 Original Miles!
From the mid-80's “end of the naked bike” collection, the GPZ1100 was Kawasaki's final expression of the Universal Japanese Motorcycle” inline four cylinder era pioneered by Honda's iconic CB750K in 1969, before engines disappeared beneath yards of plastic fairing. With 120hp on tap, the GPZ1100 is widely credited with being the first mass production motorcycle to breach the 10 second quarter mile barrier (February 1993).
The 1984 example you see here was purchased by the current owner in 2011, with 19,360 miles showing on the odometer. All operating systems are in good condition, and the red on white paint and black engine and exhaust system are all original. Regular maintenance since purchase includes a new clutch and rear wheel bearings. The bike has been carefully maintained and carefully ridden over the 15 years and 1,000 miles since its purchase.
