The previous owner was a Hiroshima survivor who immigrated to this country in the 1970s. He owned this vehicle for over 40 years. This is a very original, numbers-matching example. It s finished in Tangerine over black and powered by its original numbers-matching 1.6L engine, mated to a 4-speed manual transaxle. We do have the Kardex to prove it. Einmalig in Huntington Beach rebuilt the engine, and it hasn t had many miles put on it since. The previous owner was getting too old to drive it and finally decided to let it go after so many years of ownership. The motor sounds great and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts well through the gears. The brakes and clutch feel great. Cosmetically, this 912 looks great inside and out. The interior is in good condition. The exterior is in excellent condition, with deep and glossy paint. This car shows no rust and no signs of any accidents. The floors have never been tampered with, and all the metal is original.
