In the vast history of the autoverse, few cars can match the levels of love, allure, and dedication that a '57 Chevy commands. While all three Tri-Fives are fan favorites to the Bowtie faithful, one look at this gorgeous 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 Door Sedan and it's easy to see why this car is on so many collectors' bucket lists. Fully repainted in this high-end Red repaint, this excellently restored Bel Air comes with all of its correct chrome and badging, along with a few tasteful upgrades to make it the perfect weekend getaway car for its next lucky owner.
Complementing that vibrant exterior is a warm and inviting two-tone red-and-black interior. A period-correct front bench seat leaves plenty of room to spread out, while a correct two-spoke, dual-rim, power-assisted steering wheel sits ahead of a correct three-pod gauge cluster featuring a big 120-mph speedometer, while an added Bosch temperature gauge sits under the dash, out of the way. A RetroSounds AM/FM/AUX head unit that sits in its original position without upsetting the classic ambiance that makes this car feel so special. This car is set up for air conditioning, although it needs servicing to blow cold again, the majority of the hard work is already done.
Under the hood, we find a clean engine bay with a 350-cubic-inch V-8. That small block is fed by a single Carter AFB Competition Series four-barrel carburetor topped by a factory intake manifold, while an aluminum radiator and electric fan keep things running cool. A stock-style exhaust manifold feeds into an awesome and unexpectedly fun side-exit exhaust, giving this retro ride an authentic sound like no other. That power is routed through a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission before being sent out to the factory rear end.
