Up for sale is this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet II Nova SS in “got to have it” red!
This is a true SS 1967 Chevrolet II Nova! The car has been tastefully upgraded from its original spec. Based on the VIN and data cowl tag, the car started life as a low optioned car in Nantucket Blue with a black vinyl roof. It came with a 283 V8 with no AC.
The car underwent a cosmetic restoration many years ago when it was repainted red and the vinyl top was removed. The paints current condition is considered “driver quality” and does show signs of age—from 15 feet away the car shows very well. Today, it is believed to sport its mostly original interior which shows nicely. The previous owner had it for 13 years before selling to current owner. The current owner has had it a few months as it was bought to enjoy and pass on to the next long term owner.
The previous owner put a refreshed 283 in the car and enjoyed it with an automatic before wanting more power. At that time the current 327 V8 / 350 HP (built to 1966 Nova spec) was dropped in the engine bay a refreshed M-20 4 speed transmission with Hurst Comp. Plus shifter and linkage was paired with it. Additional upgrades at that time included a 10 bolt 355 with posi, Caltracs, 650 double pumper carb, Peltronix ignition, and CPP disc brakes and control arms in the front with added crossmember.
Other tasteful mods include 66 Chevelle gauges, kneeknocker tacometer, 4 speed console, tilt wheel, vintage AC, upgraded radio, and 17” Torque Thrust wheels.
This car turns heads everywhere and is the TRUE definition of classic look and feel with tasteful upgrades
