Description: This Everett-Morrison roadster is a Cobra replica that was assembled in the early 1990s and was acquired by the current owner in 1999. Power comes from a 427ci V8 linked to a three-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9 rear end, and the car is finished in red with white over-the-top stripes over tan leather upholstery. It rolls on Halibrand-style 15 Compomotive wheels and is further equipped with a Mustang II-style front end, adjustable coilover suspension, Wilwood front brake calipers, a single roll hoop, a Moto-Lita wood-rimmed steering wheel, Stewart Warner instruments, and four-point harnesses as well as a Holley carburetor, an Edelbrock intake manifold, Brodix cylinder heads, Keith Black forged pistons, and a COMP Cams camshaft.
Interior: The cockpit features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather, and four-point racing harnesses are provided for each occupant. A locking glove compartment, tinted sun visors, and a ratcheting emergency brake handle are further elements. The wood-rimmed Moto-Lita steering wheel is paired with a B&M shifter and sits ahead of Stewart Warner instrumentation consisting of an 8k-rpm tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges for monitoring voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure.
Exterior: The fiberglass bodywork is finished in red with white over-the-top stripes and is affixed to a 4 tubular frame. Details include a hood scoop, a single roll hoop, wind wings, fender vents, windshield-mounted side mirrors, a LeMans-style fuel filler cap, and Jet-Hot-coated side exit exhaust pipes. Halibrand-style 15 Compomotive wheels with faux knock-off spinners are wrapped in Hankook Kinergy ST tires up front and Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires out back.
Drivetrain: Power is delivered to the Ford 9 limited-slip rear end through a three-speed Turbo 400 automatic transmission with a 2,900-stall speed torque converter. The 427ci V8 was bored .030 over and features four-bolt main bearing caps.
