1981 Pontiac Trans Am. Originally sold with a 307, this T/A now sports a slightly early Pontiac 400 with a 4-bbl backed by a 3-speed automatic. It's clear that this is a fully rebuilt engine with a comp cam, high-rise Edelbrock intake, HEI ignition and headers. The Shaker hood scoop is also functional. The car sounds fantastic and runs great. There's Power steering and Power brakes. To top it off, this car came from factory with 4-wheel disc brakes! It was also factory equipped with A/C, however some of the under-hood components are missing. Still an amazing car with ultra glossy black paint and a brand-new gold bird on the hood. The gold snowflakes are 15 and wearing new BF Goodrich Radial TAs. Inside you'll find a very original interior in red! Quite the striking contrast to the black exterior. Carpet appears to be new, but everything else feels very original and in excellent condition. This car has T-tops, power locks, power windows, full gauge package with Tach and even tilt steering wheel and cruise control! The back glass has rear defrost and metal louvers. Right now, it's waiting for a new radio. Lots of new suspension parts and a very well restored unit. Not quite a Bandit car, but still pretty darn cool! Car shows 70,000 kms, but with an engine swap and a 5-digit odometer, true milage is unknown.
