This engine is mated with an FMX 3-speed automatic transmission that connects to a Ford 9-inch 2.75 rear axle. For suspension duties, the front gets lower trailing bars, coil springs, and a stabilizer bar, while the rear handles its business with semi-elliptic leaf springs and a set of shocks. The front and rear Ford Mustang 14-inch wheels are wrapped in P215/70R14 BFG tires, which bolt up to power disc brakes in the front and power drum brakes in the rear. When it comes to exhaust, it's stock except for a set of aftermarket resonator mufflers.
