1983 Mercedes 380sl The 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL is a two door roadster with an eight-cylinder engine and a 3839cc displacement. It has 155 horsepower and is available with a four- or five-speed manual transmission or an automatic. The 380SL has disc brakes at all four corners and a four-speed automatic gearbox. The 380SL was introduced in 1980 as part of Mercedes-Benz's revamped SL lineup of luxury convertibles. It replaced the 450SL from 1981 to 1985.
