This boat was purchased roughly 16 years ago when she had only 28 hours on the clock.
Story goes that the original owner actually lost the boat in a high stakes poker game, using her as collateral. When the winner eventually wanted to claim his winnings, the owner of the boat just said, screw it, keep the boat. Not wanting to own a boat, this "2nd owner" posted it to ebay. The current owner had been searching for one the rare Red Hulls and there she was in all her glory. He immediately contacted the seller and said "I'm buying the boat, sending you money, take her down". Several days later the boat was here in CT.
Now 16 years and about 570 hours later, he's got a bigger boat and this one must fly the coop.

The engine is a 375 horse 496 Mercruiser.
The boat has been meticulously cared for, with regular oil changes and service, buffing of the hull along with a regular ceramic coat, the trim tabs and outdrive are cleaned and painted every season and until last year when the new bigger boat followed him home, this boat has always been kept (off season) in a garage.
