Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 28th year in the classic and muscle car business. Americans have had a love affair with Chevrolet's Camaro since it went on sale on Sept. 29, 1966 to compete with Ford's wildly successful Mustang. Those first generation cars (1967-1969) became legendary when Roger Penske and Mark Donohue's Camaros won the SCCA Trans-Am series in 1968 and 1969, and they've been in demand ever since. But the early, chrome-bumper 2nd generation cars (1970-1973) proudly illustrate what is without question one of the cleanest designs to ever come from Detroit. Chevrolet's stylists, working under the brilliant Bill Mitchell, created a taut form that contemporary critics compared favorably to a Ferrari! This clean 1970 Camaro is a fun example of these classic cruisers. Lift the functional, all-steel cowl hood and you'll find the stout 350 V8 that's been fortified with an Edelbrock carburetor, an aluminum intake manifold, long tube headers, and an Accel HEI. Additional features include power steering, power front disc brakes, Vintage Air A/C, automatic transmission, bucket seats with console, front and rear spoilers, a Kenwood AM/FM/CD audio system, custom steering wheel, all new Dakota Digital direct replacement instrument cluster, dual exhaust with H-pipe, and meaty tires (245/45ZR17 F, 285/40ZR17 R) wrapped around American Racing chrome wheels. One more killer Camaro from the Texas Hill Country's premier source for classic cars and the team that can make your dream a reality. Street Dreams (830-997-1950) is a full service dealership that can assist with worldwide delivery, insurance, and financing options.
