This 1969 Cadillac DeVille convertible is a full-size, rear-wheel-drive American open-top cruiser, finished in pink over a black interior with a black convertible top. Pink has a long association with Cadillac, and the black top and interior keep this one looking deliberate rather than novelty.
Power comes from Cadillac's 472 cubic inch V8 paired with the Turbo Hydra-Matic 400 three-speed automatic. The engine was rebuilt by S and J Engines in May 2021 at 75,490 miles on the odometer, which puts roughly 5,900 miles on the rebuild. A 2.93 rear axle ratio keeps engine speed low at highway pace, a sensible match for a car built for relaxed, long-distance driving.
Braking is handled by front disc brakes with drums at the rear. The convertible top functions as intended, and power windows are installed. For music, a Custom Autosound Bluetooth radio adds modern streaming while keeping a period-appropriate look in the dash. The black interior contrasts with the pink exterior, so the cabin reads as a classic Cadillac rather than a themed build.
This is a good fit for someone who wants a big-block, full-size 1960s Cadillac convertible with recent engine work and the usual conveniences already in place, ready for cruise nights and top-down drives.
