1930 Ford Model 40 Pickup Hotrod. Lots of custom work with a great look! Small block Chevy under the hood with World 4-inch cast bore block, Scat Crank, rods, pistons and bearings. Comp Cams 12-564-4 camshaft with .501lift and .244 duration .050. Hydraulic Comp Cams, lifters, push rods and magnum rockers. Edelbrock aluminum heads and MSD pro billet pro billet distributor and wire set. Dual 750 cfm Edelbrock carbs with aluminum racing valve covers. Total spent on engine and accessories including assembly: $15,671. Stout little small-block! Topping it all off is a TH-350 trans, Speedway drop axle, Heidts disc brake set, and a 8.8 Ford rear differ with 3:55 gears out back. Headers have it sounding great. Ah-woog-a horn is a perfect fit! The truck has great stance and a lot of custom work to get it to look this good. Most of all chrome has been removed and its a monotone orange paint now. Hood does come off but is held on with wingnuts. A fresh polish has the paint in very nice shape. The small box still serves a purpose, and the tailgate does open. Very nice underneath with everything clean and fresh. Interior is a nice light tan with Vinyl upholstery and custom carpets. Tilt chrome steering wheel with a GT steering wheel (we may change that). Modern gauges show all the vitals. Power windows have been added, and door handles shaved off. Just the windowsill latches open the doors along with hidden pulls on the firewall. No Heater and no stereo, just pure driving enjoyment on a nice day. It does however have a single electric wiper if you get caught in the rain. Interested buyers should know that cab space is limited and anyone taller than 6 feet will find the truck uncomfortable. Just the way these small cabs were built 95 years ago. Milage unknown.
