This is one of only 73 numbered 2001 Roush Mustang GT Convertibles built and this one has the Stage II option which includes some very cool looking front and rear spoilers, bulge hood, and side exit sport exhaust all finished in a Mineral Grey Metallic with black leather interior. It is powered by a 4.6 Liter V8 backed by a 5 speed manual gearbox. It also has Power steering, 4 wheel power disc brakes and full power interior options. The real noticeable difference with the Stage 2 Roush is in the suspension which includes Bilstein Shocks, higher-rate springs, new lower control arms, beefy antiroll bars front and rear and 18-inch alloy wheels (9 inches wide in front and 10 inches wide in back) wrapped in aggressive rubber. Tire specs are 265/35ZR18 at the front and 295/35ZR18 out back and, combined with the suspension upgrade, allow nearly 1.0 g in lateral acceleration, according to Roush. To put that into perspective, consider that this is a level of grip that some supercars have.
