1938 Buick Century Estate Wagon
This 1938 Buick Century Estate Wagon has been fully restored and meticulously-kept to remain in excellent condition. Finished in sophisticated maroon over brown leather, this woody is an attractive example that runs well. Powered by an inline-eight cylinder engine displacing 320 cubic-inches mated to floor-shift 3-speed manual transmission, this 141 horsepower Buick Century drives great. An exceptionally restored example, such as this 1938 Century, is likely to be one of only a handful in existence today. Custom-built by the Joseph Wildanger Company of Red Bank, New Jersey, this 1938 Buick Century combines a steel Fisher body with elegant custom wooden coachwork. Its tasteful brightwork, whitewall tires, and exceptionally-finished woodwork distinguish the exterior of this Buick, while rich leather and rare roll-up rear windows enhance the interior. The vehicle was completely restored by noted collectors Fred and David Weber before it was incorporated into the highly regarded Carail Collection belonging to Richard and Linda Kughn until 2003. This Buick has received regular mechanical service and has since been conscientiously displayed and driven.
